Homemade Pizza Bites

The cafeterias in college always used to have those fried little ravioli-lookin’ things that were stuffed with sauce, cheese, and pepperoni. And they were every sorority girl’s guilty pleasure. I mean, fried pizza? You can’t really go wrong. So when I stumbled across this recipe on Our Best Bites, I had to try it. It’s easy and yummy! (And not fried, for those of you who mind.)

Homemade Pizza Bites (makes 24-25)
1 sheet premade pizza dough
toppings (cheese, spinach, meatballs, ham, pineapple, pepperoni, mushrooms, etc, etc)
olive oil
garlic powder
pizza or pasta sauce (for dipping!!)

Preheat to 400. Spread out the dough on a floured surface and cut it into 24 or 25 little squares. Yep, they’ll be reallll small.

Load each one up with toppings. We used chopped meatballs, spinach, mozzarella and parmesan.

Fold up the corners (pizza dough is verrryyyyy stretchy!) and place corners down on a cookie sheet (spray it first). Then brush with olive oil, sprinkle garlic powder and seasoning, and bake for 15-20 minutes until they’re golden and puffy.

Serve with warmed red sauce for dipping. Mmmmmm.
